Smaller, smarter, honest government is what we deserve

Government should serve the people, not the other way around. Too often, Salem imposes mandates, taxes, and regulations without accountability or transparency.

I’ll push back against overreach, demand open budgets, and hold agencies accountable for waste and abuse. Oregonians deserve leaders who respect their freedoms and use their tax dollars responsibly.

Stop tax hikes and make Oregon affordable again

Working families are being crushed by the cost of groceries, housing, fuel, and utilities. COLA’s are not keeping up to make ends meet for Seniors. The government shouldn’t add to the burden, it should ease it.

Angelita will oppose unnecessary tax hikes and demand smarter budgeting in Salem. She will push back against wasteful spending and inflation-driving policies, while supporting practical solutions to reduce the cost of living in Oregon—especially in rural communities that are too often overlooked. Every family should be able to live, work and thrive here without sacrificing the basics.

Keep Oregon lands in Oregon’s hands

Our farmland, timber, water and wildlife are the backbone of this valley. Generations of families have made their living from the land in House District 11. Yet, politicians too often restrict those who know the land best.

Angelita believes in protecting private property rights, opposing burdensome mandates on farmers and loggers, and advancing responsible forest management to reduce wildfire risks and preserve rural livelihoods. She will defend water rights, sustainable timber harvests and farmland productivity. Oregon’s natural resources belong to the people who live and work here – not with the bureaucrats in Salem.

Cut red tape, defend rural industries.

Our economy is built on farming, logging, trucking and manufacturing. Salem’s taxes and regulations make it harder to produce, hire, and grow. We cannot allow them to continue to drive business out of this state. Angelita will fight hard against job-killing policies and regulations.

As a small business owner, she has lived the struggles of navigating red tape, high taxes, and rising costs. By defending our farms, forest and small businesses, we can create good paying jobs right here. Government needs to just get out of the way.

Parents—not bureaucrats—know best

Parents should have the final say in their child’s education, not the state. Angelita will work to restore excellence in school, keep curriculum age appropriate and return decision making to parents.

Parents know how their children learn best and deserve real choices. Homeschool, Public School, Charter School or Private School. She supports school choice and meeting the needs of each child, right where they are at. She will fight for accountability in education and ensure our schools focus on reading, writing and math – not political ideology.

Protect freedom, preserve tradition 

Our creator gave us unalienable rights to self defense. The right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the U.S. and Oregon constitutions. Salem’s restrictions target law abiding citizens while ignoring criminals.

Angelita will stand firmly with responsible gun owners, hunters and sportsmen, opposing unconstitutional law and dangerous mandates. She will always defend our Second Amendment freedoms.

Back the blue, fight drugs and protect families

Crime and addiction are on the rise, while law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Failed soft on crime policies have only made it worse, much much worse.

Angelita supports police and first responders. She will push for consequences for criminals, and demand real solutions to the drug crisis. Women and children should not have to live in fear. Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of strong communities.

Honor service and deliver results

Our veterans and military families deserve better than delays and broken systems. They’ve earned care, housing and opportunity.

Ill fight to expand services for mental health care, job training, housing and benefit access. Oregon must stand firmly for those who put their lives on the line for us.

Rural Oregon deserves its fair share

Our highways, bridges and utilities are a lifeline for families and business. Angelita has seen first hand, the struggles each community faces, while serving as a city councilor. Keeping up with regulations and the costs of upgrades is almost impossible.

Too many dollars are being funneled to Portland Metro Area and Eugene, while rural needs are ignored. She will fight for fair funding and strong investments into projects that keep our communities thriving.
